Football is a contact sport and you can get hurt. I get that. However, to do like the, and I use this term loosely, player from Tennessee did, and STOMP someone in the head who is not wearing a helmet, is inexcusable! I personally think the guy should have been banned from the NFL. Not only that, had assault and battery charges placed against him for the injury incurred on the Cowboys player. Yes, I am a TOTAL Cowboys fan, but I would expect the same treatment if he'd been on our team. I'm amazed that someone who is paid so much money to play football, would taint the game in such a manner. I love football. I love a good tackle just as much as the next guy. Today was a disgusting display of an NFL football player. You should be PROUD to be one, not stoop to street violence and unsportsmanlylike conduct(to say the very least)! I was thrilled that the Cowboys proceeded to STOMP the Titans with a 45-14 win! That's the PROPER way to stomp a fellow player, the points on the board!

Now lemme hear it.......HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: The jerk was fined $500,000 and suspended from 5 games..big deal! The Cowboys player had 30 stitches!

On behalf of the state of Tennesse, and my fellow UT alumns...we are all ashamed of his behaviour and think this fine is way too small and the punishment is lax. Well, I don't know if we all feel this way, but everyone I've spoken to does!
Disgraceful. I think they need to lower his roid dosage.

Kimmi, our NBC station just posted a story that the Titans are also taking some(gives no amount) of his bonus back and he has agreed to counseling...
